They provide instant hot water and are far more efficient than tank-style water heaters of any kind. They will  lower your monthly heating costs because when hot water isn’t being used, the tankless propane hot water heater isn’t running. The amount of money and energy you will save depends on the amount of water you use nomally. However, it is estimated a tankless propane hot water tank can reduce your energy usage anywhere from 8% - 60% depending on the size of the tankless water heater you get and the amount of water you use in a month.

You can install a single source tankless propane hot water heater to supply instant hot water to one water source such as a shower or washing machine. You can also go with a whole house tankless propane hot water heater to provide instant hot water any where in your house. The whole house water heater can heat 1.5 to 5 gallons of water per minute depending on the size of the water heater.
